My ultimate goal is to spread joy through my creations. I want to show people that crochet isn't something that only older people do. I also want to inspire people to look into crocheting themselves and inspire the next generation of amazing artists.

My art makes me very happy and I just want to make other people happy with my art and with what I create. If something I make makes someone's day brighter, all the work I put into making it was worth it.
-
LAUREN FRITZSCHE

I want to be a part of helping people express themselves and become more confident in who they are. I have struggled with a lot of social anxiety and self-doubt, but my art has helped me work through it. Whether wearing a bright crochet hat or having fun decorating in my room, I feel like I can be myself in any setting.
-

-
DIAMOND BLACKMOND

Owner of DiMalaysia Designs
I created DiMalaysia Designs during a very low point in my life where I had a constant want to be creative, but lacked the initiative to do so. Crocheting, to me, was a blank canvas with incalculable outcomes.

I never feel complete without my favorite accessories on and I want the people who wear my jewelry to be able to show their personality through the pieces. I want people to know that anyone can wear any type of jewelry that they want and they don’t have to be afraid to do it!
-
GIANNA CASTIGLIONE
2026 + Animal Science, Veterinary Bioscience
Owner of Pixie Treasures
I love getting to see the piece come to life. I always start out with a very simple sketch, so I have an idea of what colors and shapes I want to use. Then I create the base, then all the little details that really complete the look and energy of the piece. It’s amazing how each piece of chain or crystal can change the feeling a necklace evokes.
-
KHADEEJA SYEDA

Owner of Deej Creates
I want people to be able to show their personalities through the pieces that they wear, and to know that jewelry can be fun and personal regardless of style and taste.

-
MARISA BORETTI

The most rewarding part of the creative process for me is when I’m walking around campus or at a game and I see someone wearing one of my pins! It makes me SO happy knowing that someone liked my designs enough to wear them on their backpack everyday or on their outfits for gameday.
